Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Bishops Lydeard FC for this Toolstation Western League
First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have
a safe journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
enjoy the game.

A big welcome to everyone as we embark on another season of Western
League football at The Field. The season seems to come around earlier and
earlier each year as we take the field on the last Saturday of July for the
second season running. Last year though it was the 31 ! Let’s hope we can
st
look forward to a much improved campaign this time around. Last term was
a long season after we made a poor start and took a long tine to get going.

Today we meet Bishops Lydeard, who themselves experienced a poor
season last time, finishing one from the bottom and will be looking to make
a better fist of things this time around.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.
