Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Nailsea & Tickenham FC for this Toolstation Western
League First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us
and have a safe journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
       enjoy the game.

Unfortunately since our last home fixture we have fallen back into a run of
disappointing results, excepting a very good 2-0 victory at Tytherington
Rocks. However, this was a GFA Challenge Trophy tie and it is our League
form which remains of some concern. After a 2-0 home defeat by
Warminster, we have since lost to both Shirehampton and Portishead
Town, and picked up our only point from a 1-1 draw at Radstock Town.

Today we meet Nailsea & Tickenham who are having and excellent first
season as a Western League Club. Currently they lie second in the table just
two points behind the leaders and as such we expect them to give us a
       tough challenge this afternoon.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.

       Mike Blessing
