Goal Four - Technology Infrastructure and Technical Support
A variety of information and communication technology, technology infrastructure and technical support will be man- aged as a whole to enable the District to maximize its invest- ment in information and communication technology in an appropriate, effective, efficient, and systematic manner.
Goal Five - Administrative Support and Leadership Development
All schools and District Departments will use information and communication technology to support appropriate, effi- cient, effective and secure
management of information.
Goal Six - Management, Planning and Partnerships
The District will manage the District Technology Plan to maxi- mize the education impact and use of information technolo- gies in an appropriate, effective, efficient, and systematic manner, using appropriate management, planning, partner- ship and collaborative actions.

TECHNOLOGY GOALS
To achieve our District Technology vision, six key planning goals were iden- tified to ensure success. These six key goals are clusters of sub-goals, actions, responsibilities, strategies, assessments, reports, resources, out- comes, time lines and costs that, taken together or orchestrated as a whole, will contribute to the realization of our vision. The six key planning goals are:
Goal One - Student Learning
All students will have access to information and communication technol- ogy tools, at a minimum District standard, to provide technology opportuni- ties to meet Alberta Learning Prescribed Learning Outcomes and to en- hance and improve student learning.
Goal Two - Teachers, Staff and Curriculum
All teachers will have access to and use information and communication technology to enhance and improve instruction. In addition, all teachers and staff will have access to a wide variety of information and communica- tion technology inservice, training and support programs as appropriate to enable them to integrate information and communication technology into daily learning, curriculum integration and administrative activities.
Goal Three - Library and Learning Resources Support
District and on-site learning resource support will be provided to assist Schools and District Departments with information and communication technology advice, standards, selection, acquisition, storage, circulation and implementation.
