2. District Level Management and Planning
Continue the successful management practice with the existing District Technology Teacher Leader Technology Committee. Review and expand the management, leadership and decision making model as proposed to ensure successful implementation of the plan in the future.
Online IPP Program
Extensive programming and development was completed from 1995 - 1999 in order to create a computer based IPP (Individualized Program Plan). The IPP program was developed using Microsoft Access database software. The program was developed around the provincial and school district expectations for monitoring and implementing special needs instruction across the school district. One of the limitations of the technology at this point in time was the database was hosted on school specific server which were only accessible from the school networks. This required all the staff to return to school after hours or on weekends to complete and update the IPP files.
