Parts of Speech


       Words  in  English  Language  are  the  smallest  elements  that  have
       meaning and also give the sentence the meaning.

       Depending  on  the  use  and  functions,  words  are  categorized  into
       several types or parts of speech which are -

       A Noun is a part of speech that refers to the words that are used to
       name persons, things, animals, places, ideas, or events.

       A Pronoun is a word that replaces Noun(s).

       An Adjective is used to give more, extra information about a noun.

       Verb is a word that means an action, an occurrence or a state of being.


       An Adverb is a word or phrase that changes the meaning of any word
       which could be an adjective, verb or other adverb.
