“The life of one we love is never lost
Its influence goes on through all the lives it ever touched.”
To have lived well, laughed often and loved much;
to have gained the respect of intelligent people and the
affection of children; to have left the world a better place,
whether by a healthy child, a rescued soul, a colourful
garden, or a field left wild; to have never lacked
appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it;
to always have seen the best in others and loved the
unloved. To know that even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
This was Maryrose.
