Gospel - John 14: 1 - 6
Priest: The Lord be with you.
       People: And with your spirit.
Priest: A reading from the holy Gospel according to John.
People: Glory to you O Lord.

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my
Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you
that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you
may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said
to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know

the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through me.”

Priest: The Gospel of the Lord.
People: Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

Please sit for the Homily, then stand again for the Bidding Prayers.
       After each prayer:

       Reader: Lord, in your mercy.
       People: Hear our prayer.

After the final bidding, the Hail Mary is said:
All: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed
art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
                     womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now
and at the hour of our death. Amen.

CONCLUDING PRAYER said by the Priest

       THE LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST
The offerings for mass are prepared, and the priest prays the offertory
       prayers. The response is:

People: Blessed be God for ever.
       All stand
Priest: Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours
may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
All: May the Lord accept this sacrifice at your hands for the
praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good
                     of all his holy church.
