In 1993 Blythswood Care started sending out
Christmas Shoeboxes. The first consignment
consisted of 300 boxes that went to
Romanian Orphanages.
In 2023, with considerable help from our friends at
Emmanuel Baptist Church, our

contribution was 188 boxes.
Thank you to all who worked to hard to reach this
magnificent total.

We are now collecting for 2024 and the box is in the Vestibule.
This month we are concentrating on
Small toys – picture snap cards, tennis balls, skipping ropes,
Lego, modelling clay, dominoes, Rubik's Cubes
hair brushes and combs, hats, scarves and gloves
socks and pants - suitable for boys, girls, men and women

Charity for 2024:
It's time to consider which charity we wish to support
during 2024. Please can you consider if you would like to
propose a charity and if you do please put together a
short paragraph about their work.
