FUND RAISING December and January 2025

As last year we celebrate Christmas with a
CANDLE-LIT FESTIVE FAYRE

on Thursday 12 & Friday 13 December from 5.30 pm

On Thursday Mount Scar choir will be entertaining us from 6 pm
followed by a newly formed Junior Wind Ensemble.

After a break for selling and refreshments our Handbell Team will
undoubtedly provide a Festive feel to the evening.

Handbells will ring again on Friday, after a newly formed
Junior Wind Ensemble. After a few songs from our Ukulele Band
the Monday Singers will be leading us in Carol singing.

There will be a Cakes/Savouries Table, (Crumbles & Pies sell well
too), a Toy and Puzzle area, and a Christmas and New & Nearly
New Gift Table. We need items for any of these please.
We also need consumable items to group together to make up
Raffle Prizes!

Our annual Church New Year Social is planned for Saturday 25
January from 6 pm.
There will be a Faith Supper but sandwiches will be provided by the
Fund Raisers. Please just bring a small contribution to the sweet/
savoury table. All members and friends welcome to join us.

Lastly – WE NEED A NEW CHARITY FOR 2025! Ideas to be
shared and voted on at the next Church Meeting. Please pass
suggestions to any Elder or Jim. Please include a brief note
about the work of the Charity, especially if it is not a well
known group.
