God’s call for us to care for our world is clear throughout scripture.
And yet, climate change and environmental destruction are never
       far from the headlines.

Typhoon Yagi caused catastrophic flooding in Myanmar in
September. You will have seen the devastation caused by land-
slides at Anandaban Hospital in Nepal. And in Sudan, drought and
famine threaten millions. Through all this, communities affected by
leprosy are some of the most vulnerable.

The scale of the challenge can feel overwhelming. International
action is needed now more than ever, but progress so often seems
too slow. But whenever we face global challenges like this, we
know we can turn to prayer.

This month, please join us in praying for the climate crisis and
especially for people affected by leprosy facing natural disasters.
Ask that our Heavenly Father will protect them, and pour out his
provision as they recover and rebuild.

Pray that through climate resilient farming in Mozambique and Sri
Lanka, families will lift themselves out of poverty.

Pray that the Lord will guide discussions and inspire action. May
the needs and voices of those most affected be at the heart of
       decision-making.

Thank you for your continued love for people affected by leprosy.
Through your prayers, you are standing up for justice and change.
Because of you, communities can face the future with resilience
and hope. Thank you so much.

       Every Blessing,
       Debra
