P. 6
Praise the Lord! for he is glorious;
Never shall his promise fail;
God has made his saints victorious;
Sin and death shall not prevail.
Praise the God of our salvation!
Hosts on high his power proclaim;
Heav'n, and earth, and all creation,
Laud and magnify his name.
Worship, honour, glory, blessing,
Lord, we offer unto thee;
Young and old, thy praise expressing,
In glad homage bend the knee.
All the saints in heaven adore thee,
We would bow before thy throne;
As thine angels serve before thee,
So on earth thy will be done.
Let us commend Warren to the mercy of God, our maker and
redeemer. God our creator and redeemer, by your power Christ
conquered death, and entered into glory. Confident of his victory
and claiming his promises, we entrust Warren to your mercy in the
name of Jesus our Lord, who died and is alive and reigns with you,
now and for ever. Amen.
We have entrusted Warren to God’s mercy, and we now commit
his body to be cremated: earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to
dust: in sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life
through our Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our frail bodies
that they may be conformed to his glorious body, who died, was
buried, and rose again for us. To Him be glory for ever. Amen.
God be in my head, and in my understanding;
God be in my eyes, and in my looking;
God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;
God be in my heart, and in my thinking;
God be at my end, and at my departing. Amen.
