P. 3

Give us this day our daily bread.
                            And forgive us our trespasses,
                      as we forgive those who trespass against us.
                            And lead us not into temptation,
                                but deliver us from evil:
                        For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
                     and the glory forever and ever. Amen

                                        Hymn

                                   Abide with me,
                                fast falls the eventide;
                               the darkness deepens;
                                 Lord, with me abide:
                               when other helpers fail,
                                  and comforts flee,
                                 help of the helpless,
                                     abide with me.

                  Swift to its close I fear no foe
               ebbs out life's little day;       with thee at hand to bless;
               earth's joys grow dim, ills have no weight,
               its glories pass away; and tears no bitterness.
                 change and decay Where is death's sting?
                 in all around I see; Where, grave, thy victory?
                thou who changest not, I triumph still,
                   abide with me. if thou abide with me.

                I need thy presence Hold thou thy cross
                 ev'ry passing hour;              before my closing eyes;
             what but thy grace can foil shine through the gloom,
                the tempter's pow'r?             and point me to the skies;
             Who like thyself my guide heav'n's morning breaks,
                 and stay can be?              and earth's vain shadows flee;
            Through cloud and sunshine, in life, in death, 0 Lord,
                Lord, abide with me. abide with me.

                              Prayer of Commendation

                                      Blessing
