For 22 years, you've been my rock, my guiding light,
Through every challenge, every triumph, day and night.
You joined my family, with patience and grace,
Embracing me as your own, creating a special place.

Today, I want to say, with a voice now loud and clear,
Thank you, dear Dad, for every laughter, every tear.
For the countless sacrifices, you made without refrain,
I am forever grateful, and my love for you shall remain.

I say it now, with a heart so true,
Thank you, and I love you, for all that you do.
You've shaped the man I am and I'll forever be,
In your love and presence, I find eternity.

It’s been the hardest thing to lose you, you meant so much to me,
But you are in my heart dad, and that’s where you’ll always be.
I know that heaven called you, I wish you could have stayed,
At least the memories I have of you, they will never fade.

I did not want to lose you, but you did not go alone,
Because a part of me went with you, when heaven
called you home.
So just remember one thing, we are not apart,
you’re with me in my memories and in my broken heart.
