P. 5
– three persons but one God. Mathematically speaking three ones
do not always make three. For three ones to make three, it is
necessary to put the correct arithmetic sign
between them. Things that are quite
separate from each other, for example,
three people, or three books, require us to
use a plus sign to make three. But when
things have length, breadth and height, as
in the cube, these can only be multiplied.
And 1x1x1 makes one.
May God, the Father and the Son and the
Holy Spirit bless you today, tonight and for
evermore. Amen.
Your friend in Christ,
Dave Harkison
(NB Dave was Minister of this Church from 1993 to 2015)
Doreen Schoofs nee Redgrove
was Baptised in this church on
22nd June 1941. The minister at the time was
Reverend Henry Atkinson. Doreen, now lining in
the Netherlands, paid us a visit on Friday 16th
May and joined us at Coffee where she was able
to meet a few of our more senior
members with childhood memories of that time in
the life of the Church and town.
