Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills: from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh even from the Lord: who hath made heaven and
earth.
He will not suffer they foot to be moved: and he that keepeth thee
will not sleep.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel: shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord himself is they keeper: the Lord is they defence upon
they right hand;
So that the sun shall not burn thee by day: nether the moon by
night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; yea it is even he that
shall keep thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in: from this
time forth for evermore.

Corinthians 13 vv 1 – 8 & 12,13
I may speak in tongues of men or of angels, but if I have no love, I
am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal. I may have the gift of
prophecy and the knowledge of every hidden truth; I may have
faith enough to move mountains; but if I have no love, I am
nothing. I may give all I possess to the needy, I may give my body
to be burnt, but if I have no love, I gain nothing by it.
Love is patient and kind. Love envies no one, is never boastful,
never conceited, never rude; love is never selfish, never quick to
take offence.
Love keeps no score of wrongs, takes no pleasure in the sins of
others, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith, its hope, its endurance. Love will never
come to an end. Prophecies will cease; tongues of ecstasy will fall
silent; knowledge will vanish,. At present we see only puzzling
reflections in a mirror, but one day we shall see face to face. My
knowledge now is partial; then it will be whole, like God’s
knowledge of me. There are three things that last for ever: faith,
hope, and love; and the greatest of thee three is love.
