P. 6
When Christ shall come
with shout of acclamation,
and take me home,
what joy shall fill my heart;
then I shall bow
in humble adoration,
and there proclaim:
my God, how great thou art.
Then sings my soul,
my Saviour God, to thee:
how great thou art,
how great thou art.
Then sings my soul,
my Saviour God, to thee:
how great thou art,
how great thou art.
Poem
The Sea and the stone
Make this Island our home
The countryside’s there
For our pleasure to roam
With castles and commons
With quarries and cliffs
With beaches and blossom
And views you can’t miss
The peace of the mornings
The sound of the sea
A new day is dawning
For you and for me
The Isle of Purbeck is home
And we all agree
‘tis a privilege to live here
Independent and free
