'May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in
Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy

       Spirit.' (Romans 13:15)

       Dear Friend,

The news never seems to be good at the moment, does it?
Conflict and civil unrest blight many of the countries you so
faithfully support and pray for. More than five million people in
Ethiopia and one million people in Mozambique have been forced
to leave their homes. Continued instability in Myanmar is plunging
       people into turmoil.

Behind the statistics and news headlines there are people facing
the toll of leprosy, as well as of war, uncertainty, and fear. In the
face of this, your generosity and prayers are shining out God’s
love. Thank you for continuing to lift these precious people up to
       Him.

         • We praise Jesus for the faithful and fearless service of
Leprosy Mission teams across the world. As they support
those who are traumatised and made homeless by war, pray
our loving God will provide for and sustain them.

         • We give thanks for the bravery and resilience of the
Mozambican team. Faced with relentless conflict, their
dedication for people affected by leprosy has endured. Pray
that God will pour out his blessings and protection on them as
they drive projects to help people affected by leprosy ever
           forward.

         • In Myanmar, Mawlamyine Christian Leprosy Hospital is a
sanctuary for people affected by leprosy. Many people arrive
here after long journeys along dangerous roads. Ask our
devoted Father to place a hedge of protection around this
haven, so that it will always be a beacon of light to some of
           Myanmar’s most vulnerable people.

       · `In the aftermath of war in the Tigray region of Ethiopia,
people affected by leprosy continue to rebuild their lives.
