WSDA Field Livestock Inspector Certification Training available online!
In 2019, the Legislature authorized the Livestock Identification Pro- gram to certify individuals in addition to veterinarians to serve as field livestock inspectors on behalf of WSDA. Currently, all in-person trainings are postponed due to COVID-19. However, the program is now offering the training online to continue to certify field livestock inspectors and veterinarians. The first online training was held via Skype on May 29. Training dates are posted on WSDA’s website.
All applicants applying for certification or renewal of certification must complete department provided training and pass a written test with a score of at least ninety percent. Applicants must submit an application and an application fee of $60.00.
