CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION
Designating your gift
You can direct your Annual Fund gift to SHARE, the
World Fund, or an area of focus fund.
SHARE is the primary source of funding for
Rotary Foundation programs. It’s also the
only Annual fund designation that generates
funding for the District Designated Fund.
Contributions to Rotary Foundation funds enable Rotary Districts use their DDF to pay for the
Rotarians to carry out humanitarian educational Foundation activies they choose to participate
projects. Donors may direct their gifts to three
main funds : the Annual Fund, which support in.
the Foundation’s humanitarian and educational WORLD FUND contributions provide the
programs worldwide: the Permanent Fund, which Foundation’s portion of funding for approved

Since the PolioPlus program’s inception in 1985,
more than two billion children have received oral
polio vaccine. But Rotary’s work is not done. The
disease has not yet been eradicated. After 25 years
of hard work, Rotary and its partners are on the
brink of eradicating this tenacious disease, but
a strong push is needed now to root it out once
and for all. It is a window of opportunity of historic
proportions.
The Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) initiative
