In 2015, Douglas County Cancer Services (DCCS) provided $18,658 in financial assistance to Douglas
County Cancer patients. In 2016, $26,890 was provided and $45,194 in 2017. With three months
remaining this fiscal year, we are on track to match 2017. Funding is critical to the existence of this
program. Cancer patient’s financial needs are important in the early stages of diagnosis and
treatment. DCCS fills the void between the onset of this journey and the patient planning for their
financial security.

The DCCS Board of Directors constantly strive to provide support and services to cancer patients.
With DCCS assisting, cancer patients may focus on healing and not financial stress. If you or
anyone you know is in need of the support and services DCCS provides, please contact us or go to
our website at dccancerservices.com

The need for continued funding is ongoing. Please support our fundraising events or donate to
DCCS in memory of a loved one or friend on line at dccancerservices.com . We thank you for your
support!
