With Braman’s help, the MINI
Club of South Florida quickly
flourished—putting on not only
the Italian Job event, but also
co-sponsoring Blue Martini’s
annual Little Black Dress Party,
organizing a caravan of MINIs on
National Ice Cream Day which
resulted in the donation of 720
meals to Feeding South Florida,
hosting a private showing of
Yesterday followed by Beatles-
inspired karaoke, staging a
“mini” invasion of Cars and
Coffee West Palm Beach--one
of the world’s largest monthly
car meets--and creating an
autocross event at Palm Beach
International Raceway.

In less than two months, the
MINI Club of South Florida
had amassed more than 50
members. Every new one
receives a Club t-shirt, water
bottle, car magnet, and
maintenance discounts at
Braman MINI of Palm Beach.

As Elizabeth watched her
friends and fellow owners
whizz through the makeshift
course at that first event, she
took a moment to reflect on the
Club’s initial success. Things
have moved quickly since that
fateful summer morning. As
of publication, there has been
a planned October caravan
drive to Lake Okeechobee
and another autocross event
planned for November—all with
the help and support of Braman
MINI of Palm Beach.
