Educators
AS APRIL BEGINS, most teachers are
simply looking forward to spring
break. For Braman Motorcars
however, April brings a different
kind of anticipation—for the third
year in a row, the Braman BMW West
Palm Beach showroom was cleared of
inventory, and transformed in order
to honor the School District of Palm
Beach’s School-Related Employee of
the Year and Teacher of the Year. Laura Mizer, representing co-sponsor ESPN West Palm Beach
Chosen by their peers, the 120
nominees and their guests arrived
to a cocktail hour featuring a
complimentary open bar, delicious
appetizers catered by TooJay’s, and
were presented gift bags courtesy of
several local businesses and sponsors.
The awards ceremony was emceed
by PBS and the Education Network
host Ric Blackwell, who introduced
Braman Motorcars GM Stephen A 2019 BMW X1 destined for an educator’s driveway
Grossman. Mr. Grossman reinforced
Braman’s commitment to our local
educators, and acknowledged the
initiative’s rapid increase in growth,
inspiring other local businesses to
participate as well. He then ceded
the floor to Dr. Donald Fennoy II,
Superintendent of the School District
of Palm Beach.
