Dear Parents/Guardians,
A warm welcome to our information
booklet on CEIST—Who we are and
what we have to offer in terms of
education for your child.
CEIST are delighted to have been
invited by both the Diocese of Ferns
and the Diocese of Meath to apply
for the patronage of the new secondary schools to open in Dun-
shaughlin and Gorey in 2021.
We are excited at this opportunity to work with communities to
provide a state of the art, Co-educational Catholic Post-Primary
school (with an Ionad Gaelach) for your children and for the future.
This is a wonderful opportunity, offering real choice to parents who
wish to secure the very best education for their son/daughter.
CEIST have a proven reputation in the area of Post-Primary Education
with 107 schools all across Ireland and over 59,000 students in our
care. Our schools nearby in Wexford include St. Mary’s in New Ross,
Coláiste Bríde, Enniscorthy, Presentation Wexford and St. Mary’s
College, Arklow. While in Meath Eureka Secondary School, Kells, St.
Joseph’s Secondary School, Navan and Scoil Mhuire Trim would be
recognised as part of our family.
Our schools are open, inclusive communities with a commitment to
academic excellence. Our aim is always to prepare students to take
their rightful place in society as independent, resilient, creative and
curious individuals who will be instrumental in contributing to a
better world. Their educational experience is critically important in
fostering a passion for equality and social justice, a love of learning
and a hunger to excel, a desire to effect
change and to be that change!
I look forward to working with you to
bring these projects to completion.
