What are you offering parents?

In addition to the above vision for education for your sons and daughters, we

are offering the people of Dunshaughlin and Gorey real choice. A Catholic

school in your area would mean you now have a choice. That can only be a
good thing for everyone because this choice means all schools in the area,

including our own of course, will be constantly challenged to raise the bar and

to be the very best that they can be in the community. In practical terms, this

will mean not having to put your children on buses to get the kind of education

you want for your children. It will be right there on your door stop in a state of

         the art school from 2021.

The Department of Education is capping the number of pupils in this new

school at 600. This is important. CEIST is accustomed to running this kind of

medium sized schools – we know that it is these schools that young people can

often feel most comfortable and most at home.

Our school will be non-fee paying and co-educational. It will be housed in a
state of the art facility and, as stated above, will have an Ionad Gaelach.

         What do I do next?

Firstly, you need to check that you are eligible to vote. Parents/guardians of

children in second class up to sixth class are eligible to vote if they live in the

catchment area as defined by this map on the Department of Education’s

website. Secondly, you need your child (or children’s) PPS number. Then you

go to www.ceist.ie and follow the link to vote or you can go directly to the

                                                                                           a
