LB: Yes, yes, actually, I think every year it's getting better since after the pandemic. It was hard
to say when I arrived here in 2019, because it was already after the low season and then the
pandemic. But yes, last summer I was playing some weeks about nine gigs in a week. So there’s
some days I’d play three gigs in a day. So it's definitely a good place to be like as a musician, a
blues musician and maybe musicians from other areas as well. Apart from the blues, I also have
a lot, and we also tend to get a lot more bookings now during the summer. I do that full-time, so
I have bookings pretty much every week, at least four gigs a week, like from now, and then like

next week, I already have six.

BiTS: Have you got any festivals or anything like that coming up this summer?

LB: Yes, yes, I do, actually. I just got an offer to play a local blues
festival here. Leith Jazz and Blues Festival, which is a sort of a
The Leith Jazz and Blues community jazz and blues festival that happens in Leith,
Festival returns on the 2nd, 3rd

& 4th of June. which is a neighbourhood here in Edinburgh. It used to
be at a different town, but since we got all together like
the city was growing and now it's just all together. So
it's sort of just a neighbourhood and apart from that
there's, let me see, other festivals here. I can't
remember here. I have to look in my calendar, but yes,
Kilburn. Yes, there’s some festivals here that are
                                                       happening.

BiTS: Listen, I won't take any more of your time.
Thank you very much indeed for talking to me. Thank
you very much for everything you're doing. I think that
your music is absolutely terrific. I love the live album. I
think it's terrific and I'm looking forward to hearing you
                                            someplace again as well.

LB: Awesome. Well, thank you very much. Thank you very much for the interview, for having
me and yes, looking forward to sending some good tracks for you to play on the radio.

BiTS: Well, I hope your career in this country goes well. You certainly deserve it because you're
a great musician, there's no doubt about that at all.

LB: Thanks very much. Very kind of you.

BiTS: Yes. Okay, I'll leave it there, Dino, and thank you very much indeed for talking to me.

LB: Oh, thank you very much. Ian, you take care and speak to you soon.

BiTS: You have a great day. Bye.

    LB: Thank you. Bye.
