What sets this live album apart is its sense of family and community. The concert
film includes backstage footage, spontaneous crowd interactions, and a cast of
collaborators that reflect the band’s inclusive ethos. The video for ‘One Massive Hit’,

filmed in Riverside, California, is a joyful, chaotic celebration of their extended
    musical family.

Coinciding with their most ambitious European and UK tour to date, the release

marks a high point before the band steps off the road to work on their next studio
album. The final show in Devizes doubled as Robin Davey’s birthday bash—a fitting
climax to a tour that’s as much about connection as it is about performance.

For fans of blues-infused rock with theatrical bite, “Hot Nostalgia Radio Live” is
essential listening. It’s not just a live album—it’s a manifesto of joy, grit, and
    unapologetic musical freedom.

                                          Captain Buckles—Hurry Up—Independent

Captain Buckles’ “Hurry Up” is a funky, freewheeling
debut that channels the soul of New Orleans with raw
                                          instrumental fire and punk-infused swagger.

Recorded at Dockside Studio and released in November
2025, the album showcases guitarist Alexander Mallet’s
tight grooves and irreverent energy, backed by a

seasoned crew of Crescent City sidemen.

Tracks like ‘Bus Station Blues’ and ‘Raindrops on Mardi
Gras’ deliver slinky soul with Rob Davis’s vocals and keys, while ‘This Time’ adds

emotional depth with its balladic tone. The band blends influences from The Meters,
The Allman Brothers, and The Band into a sound that’s classic yet uncontainably

    N’orlins at its root.

                                          USA—Artone/Provogue

This album is a masterful retrospective capturing the

British blues-rock legend in peak form—soulful, searing,
and timeless. It’s a live album that honours his legacy
while affirming his continued creative fire.
