day. Strictly just practising, trying to learn Bach, and trying to play like SRV, and

trying to get the feel of Duane Allman. It's always a learning process.

    BiTS: Yes, absolutely.

MD: And it's like, been so long and I've got all these influences now, like different
    stuff comes out.

BiTS: Mike, I won't take too much more of your time. I've got a couple of questions
I want to ask you. The first one is what big is on the horizon for you at the moment?

    Where are you preparing for?

MD: Right now we’ve got a big show coming up at Buddy Guy’s and that's on May
25th. That's coming up and then my reggae band The Tropics, we play at this place

called The Wild Hare. Have you ever been to Chicago? Have you heard of The Wild
    Hare?

BiTS: No, well, I've been to Chicago, but I don't know that place.

MD: Okay, this was the reggae music capital of the world. That's what they call it.

    BiTS: Okay.

MD: But they just moved downtown, and they have a rooftop bar and it's an

entertainment district downtown. So we have a show there on July 3rd. It's an open
roof, so half of the roof is open, the other half is enclosed. We're going to be outside
in the city July 3rd, day before the 4th, but nobody's working on the 4th, and it’s air

conditioned, and we're going to be up there playing reggae, reggae, rock. So that's
going to be a lot of fun. And then I'm also working on a full-length album right now
as we speak, I wanted to do ten songs. Right now I'm at 16 songs.

BiTS: That's absolutely fabulous. Mike. Thank you very, very much for talking to
me. It's been a pleasure, and I look forward to seeing you live sometime.

MD: Okay, yeah. We would love to play England. I want to meet Eric Clapton. Just

    like Jimi did.

BiTS: [Laughs] Okay, you look after yourself. Have a good day.

MD: Okay. Thank you so much, Ian. Stay blessed.

    BiTS: Cheers, bye.

    MD: Thank you. Bye-bye.
