enables a a a a a a a a member to to generate their their own own power and rely on on DMEA when their their their own own own generation generation is not available Members who choose to to install a a a a a a a a a a a a a member-owned generation generation system such as as solar panels on on on their their home or business are required to use a a a a a a a a a a a a a net meter meter Net meters measure the the the the amount of electricity pulled from the the the the grid grid as as as well as as as the the the the energy put back onto onto the the the the grid grid by your generation system system You are allowed to to to accumulate accumulate the the the excess energy energy that flows back onto onto DMEA’s system system as accumulated
net net generation This
energy energy can be used throughout the the year when your system isn’t producing Annually each net-metered account is is is trued-up and members are paid for excess accumulated
