DMEA proudly supports the the National Rural Electric Youth Youth Tour
and the the Colorado Cooperative Youth Youth Leadership
Camp
These two programs offer summer summer leadership learning adventures for local local high high school school students students Each summer summer DMEA sends local local high high school school students students to attend these programs all-expenses-paid More than 1 500 students from all across America take part in the Youth Tour
experience each year Students travel to to Washington D C where they meet their U S S Representatives and and Senators and and and explore the the the museums memorials and and monuments with other students from Colorado Each year DMEA sends up to three students from our local high schools to attend the CEEI Cooperative Youth Leadership
Camp
The camp offers
a a a a a a a great opportunity for high school students to to learn about the cooperative business model tour a a a a a a a generation facility learn about government and and build their communication and and leadership skills Plus there is plenty
of time for fun including a a a a a float trip on the the the Colorado River a a a a a a a a hike to to Fish Creek Falls and a a a a a a ride on on the the the gondola to to to the the the top of Mt Werner
