7.1 Understanding Students’ Needs:
Teachers must be aware of a child's need and for this purpose an understanding of
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is important. Maslow's (1962) Hierarchy of Needs Theory
can help teachers in understanding how to approach teaching and classroom management
in schools.
