8.6 OASIS-UDISE:

8.6.1 OASIS:

OASIS is Online Affiliated School Information System where CBSE affiliated schools furnish
the relevant information regarding:
CHAPTER 8 : BOARD EXAMINATIONS
a) infrastructure and its usefulness for safe and secure conduct of various exams,

b) faculty strength for invigilation, evaluation and academic contribution purpose,
c) available facilities for teaching,

d) facilities to organize sports activities and science exhibition etc.

e) best practices adopted by schools.

Teachers must ensure that the correct and updated information is uploaded here. If the

teacher leaves one school and joins another, it is his/her duty to accordingly get the
information updated in both schools. This kind of alertness increases the efficiency of the

system.

8.6.2 UDISE:

Unified District Information on School Education (UDISE) initiated in 2012-13, integrating
DISE for elementary education and SEMIS for secondary education, is one of the largest

Management Information Systems in the world on School Education covering more than
1.5 million schools, 8.5 million teachers and 250 million children. UDISE+ (UDISE plus) is

an updated and improved version of UDISE. Data from 2018-19 is being collected through
this software.
