SOP Title: Adult Research Patient at Children’s Health
recruitment at Children’s Health. This meeting will be scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month.
7. For requests that have been completed, the findings and recommendations from the Subcommittee will be shared for final review and approval of the adult research study by the Vice President of Research Administration and the President of System Clinical and Scientific Operations or his/herdesignee for this process.
8. Updates to the tracker as well as in REDCap are required when Research Compliance Subcommittee completes their review and an approval is issued by the Vice President of Research Administration and the President of System Clinical and Scientific Operations or his/her designee.
9. CHRA Quality Specialist will communicate the decision to the study PI/team.
5.2 PI, PRC, & PAC
For studies where an adult patient population aged ≥ 19 years will be recruited, consented, and study procedures performed at Children’s HealthSM, the “Adult Patient Recruitment” form will need to be completed and submitted to CHRA for review. PI will need to make himself/herself available to address any questions that arise following initial review of the project by the Research Compliance Subcommittee.
Until a final decision from the Vice President of Research Administration and the President of System Clinical and Scientific Operations (or his/her designee) has been rendered, no patients ≥ 19 years of age can be seen or evaluated under a research project at Children’s HealthSM.
