EPIC
EPIC is an electronic medical records database used by CHST in the management of patient information,
health care, documentation, as well as accounting and billing. Follow the link to utilize the system.
EPIC RBR
The EPIC RRB is a billing report of research related charges generated for research patients registered on research trials through Velos (see below for more information) within the CHST system. The report is part of the infrastructure of the EPIC accounting system and is customizable to any person who plays a role in overseeing the study finances across research at CHST.
Velos
Velos is a multi-purpose system utilized by research coordinators at both CHST and UTSW. Patient registration in Velos will be flag the patient as “Research Active” active in their EPIC medical record and enable EPIC RBR. Follow this link to utilize the system: Velos
ClinCard
Automated participant payment system featuring subject registration, stipend dispensation, and record keeping to ensure compliance of subject compensation for participation in research

Learning Institute
A learning management system used to support the employee’s competence and growth. The Learning Institute also contains an entry point to Cornerstone Training site that houses the learning resources.
eIRB is an online system used to obtain and maintain approval for all human subjects research performed at CHST and UTSW.
Lawson is an online system used by the institution in effort to manage key occupational functions, such as the employee profile, payment, leave, occupational wellness, performance management, career management, staff management, benefits and time off, expense reimbursement, and much more.
Kronos is an online system used by the institution in effort to manage key occupational functions, such as employee’s work shifts, schedule, and various types of time off including paid time off, unscheduled time off, family medical leave, bereavement, education, etc.
