Once you have made your connection to Jabber you can use other applications remotely through MyDesk or Workspace (e.g. Cisco Finesse). When running these applications full screen you might not see Jabber. Either resize the application screen or look for the Jabber icon on the side edges or top your screen and click the icon to open.
HOW TO MAKE A CALL USING JABBER
Click in the Search or Call field and type the 10-digit number of 5-digit extension and press Enter.
A separate screen appears that will have all the functions needed, i.e. Mute, More call controls (transfer and hold), and End call.
Click the to end the call.
HOW TO ANSWER A CALL USING JABBER
When a call is received, a separate box will appear on the screen. Click Answer to begin the call.
