Jessie Jones, Naomi P. Locus, Katherine N. Lucas, Rachelle Phillips- Williams, Claudia Spencer, Lesterine
Sturdivant, Mary B. Sutton, Kay T. Thomas, Marilyn Hart Vines, and Gwendolyn Wigen.

Several members serve on the regional and national levels in elected and appointed positions. Soror Barbara B.
Smith serves as the North Carolina East State Coordinator, Soror Tara Honesty, member of the 2026 Regional
Nominating Committee and Soror Tasha Jones Butts, Regional Choir Director. Soror Jennie Douglass Taylor
served as the Eastern Regional Director; Soror Edythe Robinson Tweedy, and Soror Mary Bennett Sutton were
elected to the office of the South Atlantic Regional Director. Soror Pamela Murphy Lewis who was initiated into
the Rocky Mount Alumnae Chapter currently serves as the South Atlantic Region Director.

Rocky Mount Alumnae Chapter observed its 75th Anniversary April 9, 2022. The city of Rocky Mount issued
a Proclamation in honor of the noteworthy occasion. The theme was..."Anchored in Service...Preparing RMAC
for the next 75 Years". The virtual program featured Dr. Trish Johnson, Immediate Past Regional Director South
Atlantic Region as keynote speaker. Projects implemented include: Distribution to Mary's Community Shelter
and Thorne Chapel's Pantry, snacks for teachers at four Edgecombe/Nash schools, Donut Delivery to Healthcare
Workers and First Responders, Worship with area churches, culminating with the 75th Anniversary Watch Party.
