ISA COORDINATOR’S REPORT

Dance is an art form characterized by the use of human body as a vehicle of
expression. It is a vibrant art which facilitates the growth of children. School
children need to be provided platform to express and communicate their ideas
creatively and demonstrate their dancing skills. Dancing in a general sense gives
children many benefits in terms of health and fitness, discipline, and social
interaction. It makes them extremely disciplined, focused, and The ISA project

on Dance served this purpose.

The children were given the creative freedom to shake, rattle, roll and twirl. The
children developed an awesome work ethic while learning how to work as a team.
The dance activity made the children physically refreshed and improved their
mood. Group dancing released their daily stress and gave them an outlet for
imagination and emotions. The ISA activity of making Dance Album helped the

children gain deeper understanding of history of dance forms of different
countries and get insights of their cultures and appreciate the same.

The Annual Day Programme conducted by the school gave ample opportunities
to school children and unearthed their dancing talent. The students of all Grades,
right from pre- primary section to higher secondary section participated in the
Annual Day programme. Dance is the hidden language of soul. The participants

donned in colourful costumes put up vibrant performances on the stage and
communicated with the audience through this hidden language and held them in
captivity with their mesmerising performances. ‘Dance is poetry in motion.’
Every dance performance staged by the students was a beautiful poem in rhythm.

May children all across the globe dance their way to glory.
