It gives me immense pleasure to pen down my thoughts for the
school Magazine. It was first published with two main aims:
to maintain a record of all major activities and achievements
of the school and to showcase the creative side of the students.
I feel proud and privileged to be associated with this
magnificent and well-managed institution. This institution is
like an old banyan tree – the roots growing deeper and deeper
ensuring a strong foundation. While the branches are spreading
far and wide providing worthy and laudable service to the
society. I am very happy to be a part of this respectable Vivek Family.
Dear readers let me quote a few lines from the holy Bhagwat Gita.

"कम��ेवािधकार�े मा फलेषु
कदाचन।
मा कम�फलहेतुभू�मा� ते स�ोऽ�कम�िण॥"

The ‘lines mean, ‘you have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not
entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results
of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.’
It has been more than five decades since we have embarked on this journey but we
believe that our journey has just begun and there are miles to go ------ and accomplish.
Learning is a lifelong process and each one of us has to do good ‘Karma ‘throughout
our lives. One cannot achieve success without hard work. Hard work is the key to
success.
For a hardworking person ‘the sky is the limit. A child who secure less marks can also
perform better or exceptionally well with perseverance, devotion and dedication.
