Comparison Degree
Definition
Comparison degree is one of the grammar in English to
show comparisons. In the comparison degree, the
adjective will change form according to the level of
comparison.
The function of Comparison Degree is used when you
want to compare one thing with another.
Comparison Degree Levels:
Positive degree
The two things being compared are at the
same or compar
able level, therefore they
are used as adjective as.
Example :You are as smart as her
Comparative degree:
One of the two things being compared has
the characteristic of being 'more' than the
other thing. The formula used is:
Adjective+ -er
More + adjectives
Example: You are smarter than her
