Present Continous Tense
Definition
The present continuous tense is a verb form that
describes actions or situations happening at the
present moment or around the current time.
It is formed by using the auxiliary verb "be" (am,
is, are) followed by the present participle (-ing
form) of the main verb.
Functions:
1. Positive Form: It is used to state actions or
situations that are currently .
2. Negative Form: It is used to state actions or
situations that are not happening at the
present moment.
3. Interrogative Form: It is used to ask questions
about actions or situations that are happening
or planned.
