ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT FY 2021

                            GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

      IMPACT ON BIODIVERSITY

Biodiversity refers to the diverse characteristics of creatures and the connections between them.
All forms of life on earth belong to diverse ecological systems and are mutually dependent on each other.
The activities of companies are deeply related to such ecological systems. By releasing greenhouse gases,
producing wastewater, emitting chemical substances, and similar activities, companies exert an impact on
the natural environment and its biodiversity.
For example, wastewater, waste, etc. that are not treated properly lead to deterioration of the natural
environment, such as water pollution and soil contamination, and loss of biodiversity.
