The @Mention Prefix in Teams
Target channel posts to a person or persons using the @mention prefix in Teams. Using
an @mention alerts the tagged person that they have been mentioned in a Teams post.
The alert takes the form of a temporary push notification or purple teams banner that
appears in the lower right corner of the screen.
How To:
1 In Teams, click on a new or
reply post.
2 Type @ followed by the
person's name. photo/screenshot

3 Select the appropriate name
from the list.
Complete your message
4 and press the arrow
(or press enter).
