CHAPTER 4

                                                     SUMMARY


               To  summarise,  companies  need  not  only  to  produce  good  quality  products,  but  also  do
               researches and analysis the consumer’s interest on advertising. For example, colours that they
               are fond off to see in advertisement media, or whether they enjoy online or printed advertising.

               In order to make a new product to succeed, it must have the desired parameters for consumers,
               to be unique, and consumers should have the information about its characteristics. To do this,
               companies need to use different means of promotions.  The main way of promoting of products
               is  the  advertising.  Advertising  is  any  paid  by  a  specific  sponsor  form  of  non-personal
               presentation and promotion of ideas, goods and services.

               Thefore, the aim of my report was to analyze the effect of advertising on a product life cycle
               and to find out the right ways and methods of advertising and how to apply them at every stage
               of the product life cycle. In my report I tried as much as possible to discover the essence of
               advertising and to identify particular qualities of its impact on the promotion of products and
               services.

               In conclusion, based on the survey that I have created the respondents of this study chose
               Google Chrome the most compared to Safari as their surfing website platform. This is because
               Safari is only limited to Apple users. Moving on to, the most used electronic media goes to
               smartphone  compared  to  laptop  because  smartphone  are  travel-friendly.  Next,  the  most
               preffered website design are simple design because simple design are easy on the eyes and
               calming to look at. Other than that, majority of the respondents agrees that tagline are important
               to advertising. The reason is tagline are catchy and bring originallity to the company. Moreover,
               Respondents would rather chose online advertisement than printed because we live in the world
               where  people  are  mostly  on  their  gadgets.  Additionally,  most  of  the  respondents  voted
               Instagram as a online platform they often to see ads. This is because Instagram is the most
               online  platform  social  media.  Furthermore,  colors  that  catch  respondents  attention  in
               advertising  is  pastel  colour  because  people  are  less  interested  in  striking  and  bold  colors.
               Besides that, design trends that respondents interested in advertising is photography design
               compared  to  typography.  This  is  because  people  like  seeing  the  object  visually  than  only
               typography which is less convincing. In addition, most of respondents approved that design
               trends are important in advertising so they are always something fresh to look at. Also in the
               bargain,  the  most  appropriate  duration  in  advertising  is  10-20  seconds  because  short
               advertisment  are  more  recognizable  compared  to  long  advertisement.  Besides,  most  of
               respondents  picked  comedy  genre  as  their  favourite  genre  for  the  advertisement  because
               comedy brings joy. Last but not least, TV commercial designs that most respondents chose is
               animation. This is because animation are entertaining for both children and adults.
