As we promote development of values in our school, we have named different sections of our schools with different

traits that we want to embody as part of BC family. We aim to instil these traits in our learners so they may become
well-rounded and productive citizens.

We will continue to emphasize on making our vision and mission the core of our daily work with children, teachers, and
parents. In living up to our claim of creating a culture of university readiness, from grade 8 in Life Orientation we will
build shared understandings about what this means and ways parents and teachers can work together to ensure that
every BC Learner is University-ready.

For this purpose, we are encouraging our high school learners to focus and work diligently from the beginning of the

school year to achieve high marks in all areas. Participation in co-curricular activities and extra-curricular activities are
required to simulate the learning process through practical learning.

As they involve themselves in their learning process, they can achieve high academic performance which will result in
high marks. This will increase their chance of being admitted easily to any University that they wish to enrol in. Practice
for Math and English are part of our syllabus which aims to provide rigid training and preparedness for the said
standardized test. Continuous assessment will be used to evaluate learners from Grade 8 to Grade 11, including the
two major exams in the Second Term and the fourth Term

Our expectations are particularly high every year. These expectations can be achieved if we are going to work together.
Parents, it is particularly important that children are present and on time every day! Instruction begins at 8 AM

sharp! Students who arrive after 8:05 AM will be marked late! If we want our children to be University-ready, and if
we want them to meet the BC standards, we must ensure they do not miss instruction. Excellent attendance is the first
step to helping our learners become University-ready.

We will be reinforcing 100% compliance with our school uniform policy as part of our efforts to continue improving the
learning climate in our school. Our school administration is always ready to attend to your needs. Due to many demands
of our growing population, we are kindly requesting you to book an appointment and abide by the schedule, so we can
