2. Open sentence
An open sentence is a sentence that has not been able to determine a value the truth.

The basic characteristic of an open sentence is the variable.

B. Truth Values
A statement has true (T) or false (F) truth value only. The truth value of a statement can

be denoted by (read: \ tau). For example, we have:

C. Negation
Negation of a statement is a statement which denies the original statement. The
