Everything that is not QM.
No superposition
No entanglement THESE TWO ARE MEANINGLESS.
Everything that is not Classical.
A QUANTUM STATE11
1) A quantum state |ψ⟩ is a “sum” or “superposition” or “mixture” of all the possible states of any physical system, and it behaves like waves in space.
a) All “possible states”àall states consistent with any constraints placed in any physical system.
2) A quantum system | > explores all of these possible states or paths simultaneously.
3) Quantum states can be confined with potential wells. Inside a box of infinite walls, an atom cannot escape, but it can move inside like a wave.
4) |↑⟩ = spin up, or heads up |↓⟩ = spin down, or heads down
a. |↑⟩ = [| ←⟩ +| →⟩] is equivalent to | →⟩ = _____ [|↑⟩+|↓⟩]
b. |↓⟩ = ___ [| ←⟩ –| →⟩] is equivalent to | ←⟩ = _____ [|↑⟩ –|↓⟩]
c. Basically, all states are superpositions of other states; you can take one state and combine it with other states and vice versa. None is more fundamental than the other.
