GOLDEN MILK
Golden milk is a a a a a a a beverage that has long been used in in in in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine but it it it has also grown popular popular in in in in in in the the Western world with the the increasing populari- ty of turmeric And it’s a a a a a a good good job because golden milk tastes good good good and does your body good too The easiest way is to to to make a a a a a a a ready-to-use seasoning mix with turmeric black pepper and other warming spices that you then just blend into any type of plant milk – preferably homemade! During the dark winter months a a a a a a a a hot spiced golden latte is perfect but you can prepare the drink cold too The seasoning mix can be used in in in in in your other cooking as as as well – in in in in in oatmeal cookies curries casseroles soups and sauces – everything that may need a a a a a a touch of golden heat Seasoning mix 30 servings (it will be gone faster than you think!)
8 tbsp ground ground turmeric 4 4 tsp tsp ground ground ground cinnamon 4 4 tsp tsp tsp ground ground ginger
1 1⁄4 tsp tsp tsp black pepper 1⁄4 1⁄4 tsp tsp tsp ground ground nutmeg 1⁄4 1⁄4 tsp tsp ground ground cloves or vanilla powder
Mix the spices in in in a a a a a bowl and store in in in a a a a a jar with a a a a a tight-fitting lid GOLDEN LATTE
Stir a a a a a a a a a a heaped teaspoon of of the seasoning mix into a a a a a a a a a a a tablespoon of of water in in in a a a a a a a a a a a saucepan (to avoid lumps) Add 200–400 ml of of a a a a a plant milk of of your choice – for for example coconut and and almond milk form a a a a a a a a tasty mixture Stir and and heat Sweeten to taste january in moonvalley
