30-day challenge in November Together with others I practise yoga every day day for a a a a a a a whole month which gives us a a a a a a a a a sense of fellowship My favourite yoga yoga is is bikram – hot yoga yoga It’s a a a a a a a a a a a a 90-minute class that is is is exactly the same ev- ery time and is is held in in a a a a a a a a a a a a heated studio I love the repetitiveness as it it becomes a a a a a a a a a a a a way to real- ly gauge your body body and head day day by day day And the the the heat limbers my stiff body body so that I can get the the the most out of the the the exercises You need to to have access to to a a a a a a a a a a heated yoga yoga studio so bikram yoga yoga yoga is a a a a a a a a a a a a a a rare luxury but there are are plenty of great yoga yoga challenges happening on the the In- ternet that you can join Let it be be decided: November is a a a a a month of yoga – every day Emelie on how yoga comes and goes in her life
I I was 15 and and curious about yoga so I I signed myself and and and two close friends up for the only yoga course in Härnösand I was was curious about what what it it it was was was and and what what it it it would give us Maybe it it it was was the hippie side of me that thought yoga would be be good for both body and soul?
It wasn’t at at all the way we had imagined it it and and now 17 years later and and with a a a a a a a a a a a a yoga in- structor course under my belt I I don’t even know what kind of yoga yoga it it was I I think they called it it insight yoga yoga Very sedate and a a a a a a a a a a a long time holding the the same poses – a a a a a a a a a a a kind of calm yin yoga perhaps? Anyway we finished the the course but none of us was was super excited A few years later when I was was studying at at Umeå University I I tried out yoga again I I found that it it was more to to my taste as as as å a a a a a a a a a nice complement to to an an otherwise very hectic life
what with school workouts and work work Umeå is where where my my yoga foundation was was laid That’s where where my my my curiosity was was sparked and I real- ised how well yoga complemented my my daily fitness regime: dynamic stretching breathing and some strength After that I I practised yoga off and and on at at times when I I felt it was somehow needed whether by my my body body – stretching putting out feelers and and and landing in in in in fin in my my body body – or or or more mentally for the sake of finding calm and and and soothing a a a a stressed out mind Yoga continued to be there as a a a a a a thin thin yet important thread running through my life
I practised almost every day often not for very very long but I I I I created a a a a a a a a routine In In 2016 I I I I went to to to India and took my first step toward becoming a a a a a a a a a a yoga yoga instructor instructor Not because I I I wanted to to to to to be be be a a a a a a a a a a yoga yoga yoga instructor instructor I I just thought that if you you get good enough to to where you you you can teach yoga yoga then you’ve really learned the the the the basics basics And I I wanted wanted to to learn learn the the the the the basics basics I I wanted wanted there there to to always be a a a a a a a a a base there Since then yoga has come into my life
and left it again several times Right now I’m in in in in the middle of a a a a a a a a a a a period where I I I hardly do any yoga yoga at all I I I miss it because yoga yoga gives you a a a a a a a a a lot It It reminds me me to to to be be grounded and fo- cused It’s time to to to start getting into a a a a a a a a a routine again! And now now I I I know I I I have what it takes november in moonvalley
