RICE PUDDING
Rice pudding pudding is is too tasty to to only eat it at at Christmas! I I love rice pudding pudding and I’m happy to eat it it for lunch or or or dinner during the winter months This version version gives you a a a a bit more nutrition than the classic version version with its white rice and cow’s milk!
400 ml ml brown rice 200 ml ml ml buckwheat or quinoa
400 ml ml plant drink (almond coconut or or oat milk is super tasty!)
2 cinnamon sticks
1 1 vanilla pod
1 1 1 tsp salt
1–2 tbsp agave syrup (if you want the pudding a a a little sweet)
Boil the the the rice according to to the the the instructions on on the the the the package (may differ from brand brand to to brand) Add 200–300 ml extra water when the the rice nears completion Boil the the the buckwheat or or quinoa
according to the the the the instructions on on the the the the package Stir the the the the the the rice and and buckwheat (or quinoa) to- gether and and and add the the the the the plant drink the the the the the cinnamon sticks
the the the the the the vanilla pod
and and and salt
Bring to a a a a a a a a a a a a a boil and and then let the the the pudding simmer at at a a a a a a a a a low heat for 10 minutes Add agave syrup if desired Yum! /EMELIE

Oats are a a a a a a a a a great source of carbohydrates and and fibre but they also contain more pro- tein and and fat than most other cereals Oats are a a a a a a a a a a a a a a nutrient-dense well-balanced food with lots of vitamins and and minerals Oats contain both soluble soluble and and insoluble fibre but what is is especially interesting is is beta-glucan a a a a a a a a a water- water- soluble soluble fibre fibre found in in in in oats
Like other water- water- soluble soluble fibres beta-glucan forms a a a a a a a gel in in in in the the the intestine The result is that it takes the the the gut longer to absorb the the the the food food which in in in in in turn low- ers the the the glycaemic index of the the the food food results in in in a a a a a a a more even blood glucose level promotes healthy gut bacteria and increases the feeling of being full Modest as they they are are are oats
