102 RECIPE / IN BASECAMP
CHICKEN RAMEN
SERVES 2 2 chicken thighs
1 red chilli
20 g g g (2 centimetres) ginger
1 stalk of lemongrass
2 cloves of garlic
2 carrots
1 bunch of spring onions
10 g dried Karl Johan mushrooms 150 g Shiitake mushrooms 1 litre water
1 packet egg noodles
2 tbsp soy sauce
Oil for frying
Salt
1 Cut the chilli
ginger
lemon grass
and garlic
into small pieces 2 Cut the carrots
and spring onions
into small pieces Set aside 3 Sauté the spices in in some olive oil in in a a a saucepan 4 Add the chicken carrots
Karl Johan mushrooms and water
Simmer for about 30 minutes 5 Add the noodles
Shiitake mushrooms and spring onions
Let boil for another 4-5 minutes 6 Add soy sauce
and a a a a pinch of salt to taste Tip
The essence of a good ramen is the broth and it's easy to make a a good broth over an open flame
