136 RECIPE / IN BASECAMP
APPLE CAKE
1 CAKE
ABOUT 8 PIECES
BATTER
50 g butter
50 g g g granulated sugar 2 eggs
200 ml wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon 1⁄2 tsp salt
1 lemon peeled
Butter for frying
Icing bag
FILLING
2 red apples 50 g butter
Brown sugar 1 AT HOME: Melt the butter
in a saucepan Let cool
2 Whisk the granulated sugar and egg mixture with an an electric hand whisk
3 Fold in in the wheat flour
baking powder
cinnamon salt
and finely grated lemon peel 4 Pour in the melted butter
and stir well Pour the batter into an an icing bag
and bring on your trip 1 IN CAMP: Peel and cut the apples into thin slices
2 Grease a a a teflon frying
pan with butter
and sprinkle brown sugar over it 3 Allow the the apple slices
to cover the the entire bottom of the the pan Pour out the the cake batter and cover with tinfoil 4 Cook slowly over over the fire over over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes
